Who we are

Brocanttia is operated by VOF CS, the seller and the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us through the contact details shown on your payment receipt.

What we collect

• Account details: your email address and sign-in credentials.
• Membership details: which plan you bought and its status, so we know what to unlock for you.
• Your content: saved searches, market plans, visit notes and photos you upload to your album.
• Shipping details: name and address, only if you claim the Brocanttia tote as a lifetime member.
• Usage data: pages visited, device type and IP address, used for security and to improve the service.

Payment details such as your card number are collected and processed by Stripe, our payment provider, and never reach our systems.

Why we use it

• To create and run your account (performance of our contract with you).
• To unlock the membership content you paid for.
• To ship your Brocanttia tote.
• To keep the service secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interest).
• To understand how Brocanttia is used so we can improve it.

Who we share it with

• Hosting and database providers that keep the app running.
• Stripe, our payment provider, for taking payments, tax calculation and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as accountants, where needed.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We never sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some service providers process data outside the EU/EEA. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. Data that is no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. We respond to requests within one month. Contact us through the details on your payment receipt to exercise these rights.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections and access controls, to protect your data.

Cookies

Brocanttia uses essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. You can clear these at any time in your browser settings, though signing in will no longer work without the essential ones.
